Hi, Iā€™m Kristen! I am a dog Mom to the sweetest little chihuahua and live with my husband here in Phoenix, AZ. I am a former engineer turned baker & cookier, and have been following my passion for baking since 2016.

In 2018, I graduated from Oregon Culinary Institute with a degree in Baking and Pastry. Soon after, I embarked on my journey of owning a tiny bakery in Portland, Oregon. For 3.5 amazing years, I created custom cookies, custom cakes, wedding cakes, and many other sweets for the Portland community as Petal Bakery. Then in late 2022, I boxed up my cookie cutters when my husband and I decided to move back to sunny Arizona.

Sugar Dust Cookie Co. is a home-based cookie bakery, registered under the Arizona Cottage Food program. I operate out of a private cookie studio within my home, separate from the main kitchen and living areas.

I love creating cookie making and baking content with hopes of inspiring and teaching others. Stay tuned for some exciting things coming up! I will be accepting limited orders starting June 1st :)
